If Scheppers can have some early sustained success in the bigs
His recognition and fandom will be much higher than a simliar pitcher because that boune he has on the mound.

1 hit and 1 BB in an inning. very nice
i get more and more excited about our future when we keep getting these types of prospects. what is so cool is that this time last year, Gutierrez and Scheppers weren’t even close to being Rangers and we had the #1 farm system. this is greatness.

The Ole Gut look really good tonight.
His fastball is fast albeit straight, but O.M.G. that curveball is wicked. He’s gotta be top 10 in the house for sure.

one or two of his FBs had some sink
he’s gonna have to throw is curveball for strikes though (which he did last night) because with that much break once the player picks up the spin they can lay off knowing its going to drop out of the zone, throwing low to mid 90s should help with that though
