The Rangers were the 5th worst defensive team in baseball last year.
I need some intelligent baseball talk.
On what basis?
I can’t remember them making that many errors. Seems like they allowed very few unearned runs. What bullshit metric is he using?

well I don't think I've
…ever seen the Rangers field a better defensive team than they did last year. There were some problems at catcher and 3B could have been better, but they were pretty good everywhere else. I know Hitzges has gone a little haywire but it’s a real stretch to say they were a bad defensive team.

It was going strictly on Errors.
Rangers were #5 down in total errors recorded with 106. Not a very good argument, but oh well.
