The recent pics of Hughes have him looking ragged, unshaven, unkempt
Dude is spent. Frazzled.
The feeling I get watching the games is … if you mark close and challenge any 50-50 ball with 100% effort, the City players will cede ground. This is why the lesser lights shine against them. City’s delicate geniuses just don’t want to dance with bullies.
But against the talent-rich teams that play a ball control style we look a lot better, our talent happy to match clever flick-on for clever flick-on. Our counter-attacking strength comes into play, too.
Competitive desire is the only way to solve the problematic pitched duality of this enchanting football enigma we call Manchester City FC. The Italians call this competitive desire “je ne sais qua” – and this new mgr, Henry Mancini, will conduct our squad into the pink. But first he needs to find the panther in each and every player.
[Except for Craig Bellamy. Never a false step that guy.]
Roberto Mancini you fool.
You’ll hear some pretty mixed reactions about him as a manager. Either way, I think this is a temporary hire until Mourinho inevitably becomes available.
And now Jose Morinho offering advice...
…because what would European soccer know what to think if it weren’t for Jose Mourinho telling us what to think?
If Brad Pitt is playing Beane who do you want playing you?

I just wanted to pop by and say it's nice to see a fellow City fan on SBN!

A lifetime of preparation however.
I’m honored and humbled by my MCFC fandom. It’s a blessing. A Christmas blessing.
My B and C squads ...
Aston Villa and Fulham are doing great. Aston Villa I fell in love with watching them tie City, and Fulham has Dempsey and Zamora – Zamora being a guy I couldn’t stand at first but who’s style has won me over in the end. Both fun teams to follow. I might have to start watching Everton, too, if Donovan is gonna start playing for them.
Hey, didn’t Z attend today’s Bayern Munich game? If so, he saw a 5-2 win.
Yep
Snow and around 20 degrees F, but it was amazing. I took a few minutes of video on my little handheld Vado HD if anyone is interested. I didn’t have good seats, so it’s not like it’s great video, but the sounds are pretty cool. 5-2 didn’t do the blowout justice.

outdoors in germany in the winter
sounds like fun :)
im interested in seeing the video.
If you are going to any EPL games, I have heard that they are strict on camera equipment being brought in. Not sure if its true or not.

Yeah I probably won't get it in
to Emirates next Sunday. They patted me down at security today, and the guy specifically felt the camera, but I think he thought that it was just a still camera, which they allow.
It really wasn’t horrible in the stadium since Allianz is covered except for over the field, and, again, I had crappy seats. But we took the train downtown after the game, and it was pretty miserable getting out to the station.

You won't have much trouble getting the camera in IMO.
Although I’ve never been to the Emirates so I can’t say for sure.
I think everyone wants to know if you partook in any singing.
I will sing
Sunday. Didn’t sing in Munich.

Well
I was really looking forward to watching West Ham fight to hold the 2nd half lead against Chelsea until the ref and linesman decided to screw up the game. sigh
It looked like a penalty live, but the replay showed it was a pretty clean tackle.
We need to not always make hard work out of sex- Rick Carlisle.
I enjoyed the game..
I think I really like West Ham. I hope they make it out of the relegation zone.
