Let's take note here
Harden got 6.5 guaranteed (with an extra $1M next year in his opt out). Marquis got a two year deal for 7.5 annually. Penny got 7.5M plus incentives. Pedro Martinez wants “more than Penny got” and Sheets wants 12M+.
I think it is fair to say JD did better than any other GM in bringing in a true potential TORP on a limited budget (besides Z getting Lee at 9M)…
Kudos where they are due…
