Kirkman or Escobar for me
I like both of them, but I guess E^2 gets my vote based on his considerable upside.
What a drag it is being broke.
Went Kirkman here...
Seemed to flag after a very solid couple months…presuming that’s related to injury recovery I’ll bet on continued improvement in 2010.

early indications are that Hurley
will be voted on at #21, much like Diamond last year. I just don’t think much of Hurley and his shoulder at this point, but I’m ok with getting him off the list.
A baseball game is simply a nervous breakdown divided into nine innings.
I really am getitng sick of voting for Hurley
I was hoping to vote for Escobar some by now, but Hurley needs to get on the list first.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

The trouble with Hurley is that his ceiling is really unknowable at this point.
Either EE/Boscan/Kirkman for me. I think I voted Kirkman, just because… well, I don’t know why anymore. Now I want to vote for EE.
Pro baseball has always been a dream, so this is pretty freakin’ cool out here. -- Tim Steggall, undrafted Rangers minor leaguer.
I don't think his ceiling has changed any
The only thing the injury does in my mind is kill the middle ground. If he’s coming back healthy, then he can still be a good number 3. If he’s not healthy, he’s going to be more of a 6th starter than anything else.

EE here
Boscan or Kirkman next

Not surprised, baffled.
Eric Hurley is a complete unknown till he actually steps on a mound and tries to throw again. He’s unfortunately become Thomas Diamond part II. Perhaps he can achieve what was once his ceiling but doubt that. Throw in his age and his underwhelming stats and I do not understand the love affair at all. Voted for Escobar but I also like Alvarez and Kennil Gomez deserves some love. His numbers will signficantly improve now that he’s out of the hell hole that is Bakersfield.
After those three I like Braden Tullis, Jack Brigham, Kirkman, and Vin DiFazio.
And Hurley's injury is way worse then Diamond
He tore is fucking rotator cuff people, he didn’t just have TJS…. ugh. And Hurley had a #3 ceiling at best and with his FB pitching, wasn’t likly to reach that it in Texas anyway.

Finally
I don’t have to vote for Hurley anymore. It was getting redundant.

If Hurley wins
Can we take that to be the screeching halt of this thing?
Twenty spots is plenty, at least till after the J1 and draft.

Is there anything better to talk about right now?
There isn’t much Rangers news and the site has become dominated by Leach talk, so why not continue?

I'm doing until 30
I wouldn’t mind going further than that, but this list should at least match the length of BA’s list. I don’t see why we’d stop now anyways. Boscan, Mendonca, Escobar, Kirkman, Tuliis, Brigham, etc. These are all guys that a lot of us here are at least somewhat familiar with and they still haven’t made this list. Its not like we’re talking about guys who project to be LOOGYs at best.

I'm almost to the point...
where I’m picking one of 10 names out of a hat, but as rentz said, there really is no reason to stop doing these either.

I usually like to leave these up until they get about 130 votes or so
But if it doesn’t reach that by tonight, I’ll move on to the next one.
