Dang, this sucks, Tracy Ringolsby was a very good baeball writer, to stay on topic.

"Colorado's oldest newspaper, the Rocky Mountain News, announced Thursday on its Web site that the paper will publish its last edition Friday."

Was that

the only paper Ringolsby wrote for?

Didn't he used to write for

One of the local papers here a long time ago?

Keith Law on Greg Golson, "He's similiar to Cameron and Hunter in that all three are black."

To answer my own question

Yes he wrote for the DMN from 1986 to 1991.

I'm not really a Ringolsby fan, but

wow, having grandparents who have been farmers in the rural outlying Denver area their whole lives, I remember reading that paper as long as I can remember reading either of the local papers. For anyone who never saw it, it’s a weird format for a big newspaper, shaped/folding more like a magazine than the traditional fold-out paper.

Yeah, they went to that format in the

1940’s.

He'll probably end up

at the Denver Post. They are absorbing all of the RMN subscribers and will be taking a lot of writers.
