Manny turns down another offer
Once again Manny continues to hold out for a better deal. At this point I kind of hope he ends up sitting out or gets stuck taking a less lucrative deal, just as a punishment for his and boras' arrogance/miscalcualtion.

That's pretty obstinate.
He’ll have to pull a Clemens and sign later or something, I just don’t see any other team stepping up with more than he just turned down.

this whole episode
has made his ‘gas is up and so am I’ comment all the more prophetic. if he had anticipated global futures markets a little better he wouldve signed then before it dropped to $40/barrel

The story now is coming out that the deal the dodgers say it is isn’t entirely true. Boras’s objection is how much of the money is in deferred payments and if it was a flat out 2 yr deal with no deferral then they’d take it.
