4 Rangers selected

There were four Rangers selected in the ESPN battle of the budgets. A first round pick number 4 overall was Josh Hamilton. Ian Kinsler was the 20th  pick. I honestly thought those would be the only two players picked. However Frankie Francisco was taken 48th overall.  Chris Davis was taken 80th and Nelson Cruz was taken 88th overall. Plus what would of been pitchers Danks, Volquez and first baseman Gonzalez. But Hamilton and Volquez pretty much cancel each other. My question if you had a number one pick from an mlb roster would it be for a pitcher or hitter? Who would it be for?  I would have to take P Tim Lincecum. Guess Im starving to see an ace in a Rangers uniform again.

I need more facts.

Fact:

Zero was invented in India by Indian mathematicians dating as early as 5th century. They widely used it in calculations, astronomy and astrology. Zero was spread by Arabians to the Europe and there on it was spread all over. Before this, all Europeans used roman numerical which were difficult to calculate on as they were in the form of Symbols, lengthy and had limits.

Fact: It is the internet myth that the name of the popular Scottish game Golf stands for “Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden.” The word golf originates form medieval Scottish and Dutch dialects. Back in a day before the creation of dictionaries, there was no standardized spelling of any given word. So it is believed that word golf originates from Dutch word “kolf” or “kolve” which meant “club.” Later on old Scots dialect transformed the word into “gouf” or “golve .”

Still need more? I’ve got plenty

whats the arguemnet for price over lester?

Scout: He was a first-round pick right? Got a huge bonus?
KG: Oh yeah.
Scout: Well, he spent a lot of it on milkshakes.

You'll see...

watch what Price does this year with the Rays. Think Liriano with the Twins in ’06, that is how good I think Price will be this year.

Lester is very good and will continue to be good, but Price could be just a notch above him.
