Since the interviews are usually train wrecks and the baseball is usually so bad, Jim Knox is more often than not the saving grace of Rangers baseball. At least you know it has the possibility to be entertaining.

SRL mentioned during the podcast that he wasn’t sure what KG’s health status is.
Back on March 2nd Jason Cole mentioned the following at the LSD forum:
I just spoke to DSL Rangers manager Jayce Tingler, who has been at the Dominican complex, and he is very optimistic about Gomez’s shoulder. He says Gomez’s arm strength is close to 100% and he has been getting the feel for his two seamer.
Always love the podcast and all the new Ranger info but
the shots at Galloway are ridiculous.
He was a Ranger beat reporter for what, 10 years? He may not be as well schooled on every single nuance regarding the team these days but the venom you boys have towards him has nothing to do with what he knows about the team and everything to do with the fact that he consistently calls out your little buddy JD for being incompetent.
Claiming his content appeals only to readers who aren’t serious fans and have a limited working knowledge of the game? What a bunch of self-serving condescending bullshit.
I’m as passionate and knowledgable as any fan out there and while I don’t consider what Galloway writes to be gospel and I put what he writes into my own blender of baseball info, I do take what he says more seriously than others because I know he’s not trying to curry favor with anybody in the front office.
The truth is that Randy Galloway’s content does not appeal to mindless cheerleaders of the team.

The truth is that Randy Galloway’s content does not appeal to mindless cheerleaders of the team anyone but Josey.

I don't understand why the Galloway bashing
is so necessary to what was otherwise a very good and informative podcast.
The sole basis for the bashing was only because of what Galloway has written about JD.
Galloway has written highly complimentary articles on Josh, Kinsler, Young, Nolan among others but has been awfully (and justifiably if you look at his trades, the standings, attendance) tough on JD.

JD only gets bashed by me
when he does something stupid or makes a poor decision that affects the team at the major league level.
Bringing in Nolan Ryan seemed to end a lot of that stupidity.
