LSB Fantasy Baseball League
Ok so obviously I failed in my earlier attempt not to take up board space with this, but talking with Adam, I'm just going to go ahead and make this public since it's the easiest way to accomplish this.
We started doing a "boardie" fantasy league back in 2001 when everyone was on the ESPN boards so this will be the 9th year we've done it. Now that everyone from the league posts or reads on this board, it makes sense to include more people in the league so we're making 2 teams this year, and A and a B. The A team will be mostly people that have been in the league before and the B team will be for new players.
After the season we'll take the top 6 from both leagues and form the next years A team and the rest will be in the B team.
We need about 10 players for the B team so obviously not everyone will get in and the only fair way is to pick people who post here regularly or have been participating in LSB for a long time.
You don't have to have any experience in fantasy baseball and it's 100% free through yahoo. We just ask if you want to participate then please keep up with your team. If you can't make the time commitment to set up your roster once a week, then please don't ask to join.
So if you would be interested, send me an email at LSBfantasyleague@gmail.com. Please put your user name in the email. The draft date is currently March 28th at 9:30pm, but you don't HAVE to be there for it although its highly suggested you do.

Free Stat Tracker
For anyone interested, I have built and continue to expand a web-based, fantasy baseball stat tracker. It’s free and pulls in live stats from MLB. Feel free to sign up and give it a shot. If you have any comments or feature requests, you can email them in or post to the blog.

Do you have to actually have a team
to use this? Could is just select a bunch of players I’m interested in to follow? I don’t play fantasy ball, but this sounds neat.

No Team Needed
You can just create a “team” and add any players to it you want. I use it to track Rangers stats as well as my fantasy team.

I'd like my spot back...
Although my teams have been so bad the last few seasons that I probably don’t deserve it! Really…can anyone hang with Req year in and year out? His teams are always so dang good.

Req is hard to beat
I bailed out a long time ago. Plus… I never got much time to keep up with my team.
However, maybe i’ll join this year and see if I can commit to setting up my roster once a week.
