Nice action shots
I love the shots with the ball on the bat and just taking off in flight.
You must be using a burst setting. How many frames at once?

Well done
The Davis HR pic and the Cat sun pic were both awesome. That zoom lens has IS, right?

Info about the equipment
I use a Canon 40D which has the capability of taking 6.5 frames per second, but I wasn’t using it on those shots. On the one where ball is meeting Hamilton’s bat, that is just sheer luck. It was what I trying to accomplish as I sat through the game.
The zoom lens does have IS (image stabilization). It’s Canon 100-400mm glass.
My hobby is aviation photography, but that’s pretty good training for photographing action sports.
Now I’m back home, sitting in the recliner in my den. The Surprise honeymoon is sadly over.
