Throw an outside perspective in there as well
Like a Will Carroll, maybe.

So I’m not going to say anything at all.

at some point, a big round table would be great. Pick a couple of narrow topics and let them spew forth collective wisdom. You left Jason and/or Joey from BBTIA from your list, though.

Very nice Scott.
He forgot to mention under the “Does the rotation have a prayer?” section that Sheets suffered an injury just by agreeing to a contract with the Rangers.
Even so, I’ll the the over on whether the rotation will be terrible.
JD: Adamant about 78 wins in 2009. Go Rangers!
That was a good read
I forgot about HBT doing these. Can’t wait to read up on some other teams.

The last pitcher originally signed by the Rangers to qualify for the ERA title while still with Texas was Doug Davis in 2001. Their division mates have a combined 41 seasons of at least 162 innings from homegrown pitchers since then. Meanwhile, Chris Young, John Danks, Edinson Volquez and (improbably) Andres Galarraga form a solid quartet of ex-Rangers. At least Volquez brought equal or better value in return.
Harrison is most likely to break the dry spell.
Probably not his intention, but this gives the impression that Harrison is a “homegrown” talent. Although he did mention earlier that Harrison was part of the Teixeira deal.

Andres moving to the mound, at this point, is quite improbable.

Good catches
I screwed up “Andres” and Harrison. I’ll go stand in the corner for 15 minutes.
