This day in LSB history
2 years ago today, we were celebrating the announcement that Jamey Wright had won the 5th starter job.
Happy times...

The franchise was apparently devastated
by the loss of Bruce Chen.

Fairly recipitous fall for LIttleton in two years. There were (quite a few, as I recall) people who thought that he was a top ten prospect in the system, and while I didn’t think that, I figured he was a late reliever for that team. I guess he could still make a team, but at best he’s gone from the important end of the pen to the unimportant, and more than one club, including an iffy situation here, didn’t want him on their roster.

I've thought the same thing
I like him and thought he was somebody that could get it figured out. I was a little sad when he was sent to Boston. Oh well.
I still hope Littleton figures it out
I like him enough to wish that for him. I just hope it’s not against the Rangers.

This blog had a crush on Littleton the summer prior to that
before most transfered their bullpen love to Wilson a bit later that year.

sad part is
He’s not even with Boston anymore. He’s with the Brewers now.
my sig is better than yours
Yeah, that’s why I said “more than one club” didn’t want him on their roster.

Ooh..maybe I'll get to see him then
When Nashville comes here. I have a feeling he’ll be with AAA.

Yep
That bit us in the ass.
Keith Law on Greg Golson, "He's similiar to Cameron and Hunter in that all three are black."
it did
by keeping Wright instead of Chen, it singlehandedly led to the mismanagement of the pitching staff(bullpen) by Wash.
somehow this is true.
