Returning to even part of his old form is a long, long shot
And if he makes the roster, he’ll be taking AB’s away from someone, whether its Davis, Blalock, Cruz or even Murphy. We’re not running a retirement home, we’re supposed to be developing the young guys and Andruw’s presence interferes with that.
But maybe you’re right though, the vitriol is getting a bit over-the-top. It’s not really his fault the Rangers are considering misusing him.

he would be taking AB’s away from Hank or Byrd mostlikely the only other circumstance the only way he would take AB’s away from Murph or Cruz is if they get off to a slow start which is my main problem with Wash I think every body in the lineup deserves till June before they lose an AB period, but thats not how Wash works and he would give those AB’s to Byrd or Blalock if Andruw wasnt here, and Andruw is younger than Byrd and only half a year to a year older than blalock

apparently a bunch of Boas that got loose during the hurricanes the last few years are causing problems, they’ve caught them up to 18 feet, and say it could be a nationwide problem eventually
