My roster is… odd. I’m at least happy I recognize all the names.

I went on a walk a couple weeks ago that was for the sole purpose of basking in the sunlight.
I walked 2 miles in one hour.
That's more than I walked today
I only stayed out for 30 minutes. I was starting to get cold.

I went on a two mile walk yesterday.
Of course, it was forced after my EFFING car was towed. CSers, my apartment management…I turn in my notice after over two years of being a more than perfect tenant…and then my car gets towed for not having a parking sticker…regardless of the fact that I have parked in that exact fucking carport spot for over TWO YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I know this is irritating.
But I lost all my bookmarks along with my last hard drive.

I think they are limiting the starters to 4 IP
in A games while completing their pitch limit in a B games (McCarthy’s limit is 100p) to give them more innings to eval the relievers

I love looking at the box score
and seeing the lowest BA over .280. I know its just ST, but this offense is still hitting on all cylinders. And the lineup in right now is pretty much the starters.

Why?
there’s a lot not to like about Feldman, but it’s not like he has overpowering stuff or is a high K pitcher.
His ideal role is a swingman/mid reliever, I think
He had trouble after the 5th inning last year and I don’t think his stuff is good enough to stick in the rotation long-term. So I’m not worried about sticking him in the bullpen to start the year.
After all, he’ll probably just be back in the roto by midseason.

91ish, that’s plenty enough for a rotation guy. If you think he has the stuff or the control for the rotation, you let him work up the stamina cause in the end, even a #4 or #5 is better than another mid innings guy in the pen
I don't think he's good enough to be a #4 or 5
Tommy Hunter should be in line for that job anyway.

why would TB do it?
isn’t he their fifth starter now that price is in AAA? Hammel strikes me as a bullpen guy so until Price is called up he’s the guy.
If I was TB I would not trade my fifth starter for a 4th OF who will be a FA next year and who you might not want to offer ARB to due to his age.
Niemann is the kind of guy that you feel just fine about having in AAA for the rest of the year as injury protection after Price gets called up. If you want to do something with him wait until the trade deadline or the off-season IMO.
Ask him to go to AAA,
and work on things. If he declines, he’s gone.

What are the chances
that Byrd gets an A ranking next year? I just think Niemann has enough upside as a pen arm that you’d be better off getting a players like that vs. 1 year of Byrd.

Let's put it this way
There are a variety of Niemann’s out there — we claimed one on waivers at the end of spring training last year. You grab them on waivers or get them for the Frank Catalanottos of the world or sign them as NRIs…you don’t trade starting caliber OF’ers for them.
