New T.R. Sullivan mailbag up
T.R. Sullivan has a new mailbag column up...
He is bullish on Ben Sheets ended up in Texas, calls Andruw Jones making the team a "dubious" proposition, and talks about Derek Holland and Neftali Feliz's potential arrival dates, among other things...
Check it out...

I love the smell of T.R. sarcasm in the morning.
It smells like baseball season.
Signature! I don't need no stinking signature!!
He's got to get worn out with stupid questions.
I like it when he gets snarky.

Better than normal
I’m sorry though Hamilton’s negotiations and Hanley Ramirez’s have very little in common.
What do voluntary mean?
I know
that is so stupid for TR to use that as a comparison
one guy is one of the most talented young players in baseball entering his prime soon….the other is a player getting older with too many frightening wild cards in his corner
im all for signing josh but that comparison is silly
This snide question had to have come from someone around here...
Please explain how in the world the Rangers are going to fit John Lackey and Ben Sheets into their newly proclaimed $50 million payroll limit.

I'm a fan
it’d be nice to trade Millwood and/or Padilla and start the second half of the season with a rotation with Sheets, Holland, McCarthy, Harrison and the remaining Millwood/Padilla or Feliz

Really? You probably shouldn't be
if sheets is thinking clearly he rents himself to a team that is sniffing a nice playoff run. That won’t be us.
Well, obviously
Sheets has lots of time to change his mind and see where the Rangers and other teams are when he’s ready to pitch. First he has to be able to actually pitch.

who isn't?!?
Josh Hamilton puts his pants on one leg at a time just like you but once he gets his pants on he hits baseballs 420 feet.
Charles
Why don’t y’all move Chris Davis to third, Hank Blalock at first and move Michael Young back to shortstop and put Marlon Byrd at DH?

Rimshot...
…I LOL’d so I’ll rec it.

Stupid is as stupid does
What an idiot does he even follow the Rangers? Go back to the pig farm fucker!

How stupid indeed
That said, i do wish that TR would actually answer questions like this to inform idiots like the person who sent it
obviously we know the answer is b/c we dont want our D to suck all kinds of ass…but does the average jackass know that?

If by average jackass
you mean columnists from the FWST or DMN, then, of course, the answer is no.
geez people
it was the starting lineup to end last year aside from byrd dh’ing
i don’t want it and if it was going to happen it would have had to have been a long time ago, but its not like the guy suggested salty at 1b, davis at 3rd, MY in CF and arias at short or something.
the preceding post was a great success.
The question is
Why does he want to do that and why at this point in ST. Did he not see the train wreck on defense that the rest of us saw last year? I think that is the real question.

No crazy trade ideas
I am saddened. I look forward to those every mailbag.

Yet again, can TR not explain to people that ML teams have no chance to sign him until he wants to come to america
furthermore, can he not explain that he has publicly stated that he wants to win 200 games in Japan…
that said, he is filthy
That would take much more effort than TR...
…normally puts into his answers. TR’s mailbags would be more informative if he forwarded the questions to an LSB poster picked at random and let that poster answer them.

Now that would be funny
One of us just gets picked blindly.

I just pray they don't pick
miles

Ok minus a few.
Don’t forget the Outlaw can you imagine him answering questions what a train wreck that would be.
