I plan to drive about 12 hours roundtrip to watch the RoughRiders over the 4th of July weekend. There’s ny way I can afford a hotel room, so I’ll be driving down for one game and turning around to drive back after.

As far as minor leagues go
I will be taking a couple of weekend trips to Hickory, NC this summer. I can’t wait to see some of those kids play. That’s about a 5 hour drive from where I live.

No joke. some of you are just ridiculous. Its not always just the pitchers responsibility to keep the game in hand and runs off the board. If the defense plays decent, and not great, just decent, there is no way this game is where it is. Benson missed on pitch but other than that, has had a fairly decent outing.

I was referring to last year’s Scooter starts, where he would pitch fine but the defense would utterly fail behind him and he’d end up with the loss.
