To me, it looks like his new approach to the plate (new stance) has made hammy a little slower to the plate. Especially on those upper fastballs. If he continues to “struggle”, does he go back to last years approach???

Thanks for that

Was wondering what that looked like for Harrison today.

by hiafex on Apr 11, 2009 1:54 PM CDT up reply actions

The result is what matters in the end...period

Furthermore, if you really want to nitpick the 2 runs in the 2nd were very luck as well

by Horns130 on Apr 11, 2009 1:53 PM CDT up reply actions

The result matters to the team

We are just talking about the pitcher.

9 hits, 5 walks, 4 runs.

He sucked ass, get over it.

by SaltyGoesYard on Apr 11, 2009 1:54 PM CDT up reply actions

Do you really believe that?

Results cannot necessarily be duplicated. A lot is very contextual.

If you look at what kind of throws Harrison made, how he pitched to certain guys, etc., you can actually make an evaluation that goes beyond one game.

Or you could just be a dolt and say results are all that matter.

I think they're going to lose a lot of season ticket holders

I’ve talked to a lot of Twins fans who drive a few hours…and they can justify that because there’s no such thing as a rainout. The new park will offer no such security.

Although I’m anti-dome for baseball, it doesn’t make much sense to not at least have a retractable roof in Minnesota.

Not on a mediocre team that doesn’t have the pitching to go anywhere for at least another year.

A waste of at-bats is giving them to a 1-year reclamation project like Andruw Jones who has not future here.

They can be

I wouldn’t want to sit through one every game, but when they go into meltdown mode its a sight to see.

The thread on Aumont moving to the bullpen was pretty hilarious.

Concur...

if LSB GDT’s were more like LL GDT’s I would probably participate more often.

you complain about the two guys being negative and agressive

and then say we should be more like LL? huh?

the preceding post was a great success.

Yep...

they do it in a sarcastic and entertaining way. I laugh my ass off most the time.

The few that do it in GDT’s here (you obviously not being one of them) just do it to be annoying assbags. There is no originality here, although I do like many of your GIF’s. How many times can you post “DFA his ass” or “send him down”?

Bah

even great teams lose series – it’s their home opener and it’s 4 day games in a row. We’ll be fine

by FirebatM3 on Apr 11, 2009 2:48 PM CDT up reply actions

That's another thing

Having 4 day games in a row here has sucked balls. I don’t know who’s genius idea it was to schedule it this way, but I’m ready for the 7:05 starts so Hamilton can get it going and we can start rounding into mid-season routine.
