To me, it looks like his new approach to the plate (new stance) has made hammy a little slower to the plate. Especially on those upper fastballs. If he continues to “struggle”, does he go back to last years approach???

It’s not funny though. The OKC audio kept doing that shit last night, and it was annoying as hell.

Hello Win Column - no two-tone helmets have been included in our redesign.

by lonestarJon on Apr 11, 2009 1:49 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

Which goes to show

How ridiculous the standard definition of a quality start is.

If you honestly thought Harrison was a quality pitcher today, well, I think you’re mistaken.

by brettgardner on Apr 11, 2009 1:50 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

3 runs in six innings

With this offense is a quality start.

Or I guess you could just ignore what I said.

I’ll repeat though: look at the game, not just the result.

Pitching style can be repeated. Results not necessarily.

+ 1 he wasn't that great.

Was wondering what that looked like for Harrison today.

by hiafex on Apr 11, 2009 1:54 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

The result is what matters in the end...period

Furthermore, if you really want to nitpick the 2 runs in the 2nd were very luck as well

by Horns130 on Apr 11, 2009 1:53 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

The result matters to the team

We are just talking about the pitcher.

9 hits, 5 walks, 4 runs.

He sucked ass, get over it.

by SaltyGoesYard on Apr 11, 2009 1:54 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Do you really believe that?

Results cannot necessarily be duplicated. A lot is very contextual.

If you look at what kind of throws Harrison made, how he pitched to certain guys, etc., you can actually make an evaluation that goes beyond one game.

Or you could just be a dolt and say results are all that matter.

by brettgardner on Apr 11, 2009 1:55 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

then again almost any radio feed does. Wunder Radio drains mine too, although while I’m at work at least I have my iPhone plugged in. Was hoping to use the audio at the ballpark, but probably won’t be able to, likely will just use the gameday only.

Might improve as they improve the feed but even gameday was patchy. But overall really impressed and for only 10$ not bad.
