Most hits in a row??

I was wondering today what the record for most hits in a row is?  I haven't found anything searching online yet, does anyone know?

Scout: He was a first-round pick right? Got a huge bonus?
KG: Oh yeah.
Scout: Well, he spent a lot of it on milkshakes.

Ok

You either:

A. Suck at searching more than anyone has ever sucked before

or

B. Lied about searching before posting this.

There are no other possibilities.

Found this.

Walt Dropo holds the record at 12, jointly with Pinky Higgins of the Redsox who also had a 12 hit streak in 1938

Shouldn't have told him

Keep him guessing. Mentally masturbating about this question.

Eh I don't know.

If he asked

Teach me how to search for stuff on google maybe I would have. But he asked a question and it was no trouble searching for it.

I'm not calling anyone stupid

I’m just saying this type of crap doesn’t deserve a fanpost. Go to “Ask Jeeves” if you need the answer to a trivia question. Or whateverthehell that Yahoo site is.

I'm not gonna take the time to search for it but

I believe Bill Stein had 7 straight pinch hits in a row for our beloved team.
