Sickels on Davies
John Sickels has a new "Not a Rookie" post up today, and his subject is Royals righty Kyle Davies, who will be squaring off against Vicente Padilla in the series finale on Sunday.
Given that we're going to be seeing him this weekend, I thought it would be worthwhile to link for y'all to check out.

“something clicked” for Davies last year, but I don’t see it. His tRA was 4.98, his xFIP was 4.96, and so far this year he’s left a very lucky number of guys on base.

did you look up his stats in Atl?
That’s his best season yet with his rookie year being a distant second.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

Well, ok
I guess a 4.98 tRA is a lot better than the 7.48 and 5.68 figures the previous two seasons.

But "seems to have found something"
isn’t what I’d say to describe going from puke inducing awful to just nauseating.
