...
You said you didn’t see it posted anywhere but you couldn’t have looked too hard. Also, I’ve been around for years, you didn’t look too hard regarding that topic either—all you’d have to do is check my UID #.
That being said, I admit I didn’t know that penalty box was only for actual fan posts.

This crap
I am really sick and tired of the snarkiness around here. I mean, did my post somehow hurt you or aggrieve you in some unseen or unknown way? Because I didn’t comb all fanposts and fanshots I need to be called out in a thread about the division for pointing out that a player is injured? I used to post frequently here on LSB but this kind of stuff has just worn me out. I used to like to come here to talk about baseball but now I inevitably have to suffer through these sort of nonsensical comments that detract from both the quality and character of conversation. So if I offended you I apologize with all sincerity, otherwise get over it and comment on baseball-related issues.
geez louise
Relax. I’m not one of those forum nazi types who cares about all obeying all the etiquette(sp?) and rules, I was just giving you a hard time more than anything. Lighten up.

But you ARE a forum nazi...
and “lighten up” doesn’t change it.
This place, IMO, has always been LoneSnarkBall, especially if you dare to be different from the “+1ers”…but what do I know…I’m just a troll.
I'm just killing time until I'm reincarnated.
Before the season started
what would you have considered an acceptable end of April record to be? Would you have take .500? That’s what I’m looking at – the end of month record. Pre-season, I predicted a sub-500 record due to getting beat by the Indians’ aces in the opening series and getting pounded in Detroit. So, for me, the Rangers are sorta right on pace – they can still salvage this thing if they can just play .500 ball the rest of the month.
BTW, I’m no Sherrington fan, but this tidbit struck me as spot on:
But do they always play smart baseball? Put it this way: When they do, it’s noticeable. That’s why the crisp clean opening game was so compelling – it was unusually well-played by a team whose normal sloppy mode boldly highlights any sharp run of performance. Is there any sign that Worsh has been effective at changing the norm around here?
So
Is anyone watching Quickpitch on MLBN? They went through a list of all the players who homered on Friday, they listed 29, 0 Rangers.
Thank you for brightening my day!
I miss 1989. I miss 1996. Please make me miss another season in 2008.
I agree.
hard to think of them as “not that bad” when they’re in the middle of a 1 for 7 streak.

The Angels
Three pitchers on the DL and one dead. Now one of their best hitters is on the DL.
Who’s hurt for the Rangers? Joaquin Benoit and Eric Hurley… anyone else?
Sucks, but hardly 4/5 of the rotation
And the rotation was supposed to be a big part of why the Angels were the favorites.
