They use a standard field in the town I cover, but put ribbons down the sides to make the sidelines. the end zone starts at the 10-yard line and if they want to kick a field goal, everything moves 10 yards down since the goal posts can’t move.

the cameras are all white balanced incorrectly, the camera ops look like they’ve never shot baseball, and one camera looks like it has some kind of film over its lens. Terrible production.

video vs. digital cameras. Video doesn’t have a white balance, and we’re so used to seeing digital that anything less that top quality video cameras and boards will look like shit.
