A plea for AJM to not watch any more games

In Sunday's game day thread, AJM said he was leaving and was going to stop watching the game to spare himself the pain.

Then, the Rangers scored two runs in the eighth and then Young hits a no-doubt walk-off on the second pitch against Farnsworth in the ninth.

This is a plea for AJM to not watch any more games this season. That's better luck for us than any rally taco or red uniform.

I think it was...

the high socks that CD was rocking today.

From now on all players need to wear their socks like Ian does (since he’s the one tearing the cover off the ball) and now CD with a big PH to tie the game.

I think...

…it was me. Second game I went to last year also was the first walk-off of the season (Murphy double against MIN). Someone pitch in and help me get season tickets… then we might win the World Series…

It was me

Sunday is typically my cap and no makeup day. In the top of the 8th, I put on the rally cap.

Okay, so it wasn’t me, but I really did do that.

The only loss I've watched this year was Galarrage picking them apart

I think I’ve watched every win.

I called the HR.

The people I sit with at games hold up a finger (#1) for MY’s at bats, and call him “everybody’s everything.” I’m not that big of a fan of him. So today I said, “If he hits a walkoff home run right now, I’ll call him my everything, too.”

I’ve been held to it. Shame I didn’t specify a time period.

MY is often thought of as the most underrated player in MLB

Game in and game out, he gives everything to the team. Who else would move positions twice, and most recently after winning the gold glove for shortstop. MY played through a lot injuries last year and could have sat out a majority of those game at the end, we weren’t contending anyway. Anyway, he really is displaying that power this year, hopefully he will top the 24 home runs from a few years ago. Anyway, with exception to last year’s injury plagued ending, he was the model of consistency, especially with a .300 average and 200 hits. I’m sure he will reach that point again this year. Although last year’s performance did not warrant his huge contract, I’m sure he will redeem himself this year barring any injuries.

It was me, damnit

My first Rangers game of the season. Drove six hours from Amarillo. Got to see a MY walk-off homer. Sunburn was totally worth it.

Just Start Holland already

I’m sick of organizations babying these players and coddling their prospects. I like what they did with Holland in his first appearance. Throw them to the wolves and see how they react and come out of it. Holland did great, now throw him into the rotation. I don’t think Nolan Ryan was “eased” into the rotation. Didn’t he throw like 300 innings his rookie or second year. Give me a break with all that nonsense, they’re either ready or they’re not. Let him take any of our rotation spots except Millwood who actually has been decent for a change. Probably the Express’ influence in tightening that fat boy into shape in spring training. Or Ryan got KM into a head lock and noogied him like he did to Ventura.
