He will be appearing on tonight's episode of "Homecoming"
Editor's note: "Homecoming" is a new signature ESPN program hosted by award-winning sportswriter Rick Reilly that challenges the old adage, "You can't go home again." Reilly will bring his unique style of storytelling to this one-on-one interview program to be shot in the hometown or "formative place" of an A-list athlete. In a warm setting made up of the athlete's friends, family and admirers, we will spend an hour exploring and celebrating how a remarkable athlete came to be. After all, home is where the heart is and heart is the intangible that separates a good athlete from a legend.

after a dozen or so questions?

against “Greg Madox”

Nah
He had to get ready for the next time we play the “Angles”.

The wrap
Well, it lasted less than a half hour..
SportsNation Buzzmaster: Josh will be here shortly!
SportsNation Buzzmaster: We have Josh!
Henry (Buffalo): How strange was it to appear on Homecoming with Rick Reilly? Being back in your hometown in front of familiar faces like that?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: I actually live in North Carolina in the off-season but at the same time it was cool seeing people that I haven’t seen since high school.
Justin Behling (Boyceville, WI): Hey Josh, who is your favorite player of all time?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: Cal Ripken Jr. because of the way he handles himself on and off the field.
Tim M, Corsicana, TX: Josh, In your opinion, who are the toughest pitchers to face?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: The guy I hated facing the most was Greg Madox but he retired so I’m good now.
Mike Warsaw,IN: How do you see the AL West shaping up this year?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: That’s a good question. I would like to say I see the Rangers at the top. It’s going to be a battle between the A’s, Angles and us.
Hook (Southern Maryland): What is your favorite ballpark to play in outside of your home field?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: I like Fenway Park in Boston because the fans are great and it’s just an all around great place to play.
Bernard, NY,NY: Who is your favourite non-baseball athlete, why?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: I don’t really have time to watch other sports.
Cris, Minneapolis [via mobile]: Is it really that easy hitting home runs in arlington compared to the Great American Ballpark and other “hitter’s” parks?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: Heck no! The ballpark in Arlington didn’t carry all the way around.
Kyle Bogden, Huron, Ohio: In the offseason, what kind of things did you work on? Because this year it seems you’ve become a better base-hitter, and your speed has improved. Good luck, and God Bless. -Kyle
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: This offseason I worked on changing my stance at the plate because I felt it would help me be more consistent at the plate but I never got comfortable with it so I changed back.
Dan (Wethersfield, CT): As a prepster you were quite the left-handed pitcher, could Josh Hamilton the hitter touch a Josh Hamilton heater?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: I bet if I practice for a couple of weeks, I think I can get back up there and pitch. I would be able to know my pitch out the park too.
Brandon (Jackson,TN): Who is the “coolest” guy in baseball?(easy to talk to, down to earth, etc…)
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: I have to go with Michael Young. He’s a cool dude.
KC (Colorado Springs, CA): Josh, which one of your new teammates has impressed you the most (Andruw, Kris Benson, Elvus)?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: What about Omar? (laughing)
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: He’s been in the business 20 years and I’m trying to learn whatever I can from him.
Casey (Detroit, MI): If there was one player you could play with, who would it be?
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, or Hank Aaron
SportsNation Josh Hamilton: Thanks to everybody for all your support and prayers. I’m going to continue to keep doing what I’m doing.

F Face
doesn’t seem like the “coolest” guy in the clubhouse. But what do I know.
Jeff Zimmerman for President.

Ham burns Seattle?
Thinks it will be a battle between the two Cali teams and the Rangers. Doesn’t mention the current leaders.

I think because that was the preseason talk,
he was just talking/typing in rote.
"I saw your act, just didn't make it for me. Just a lot of fluff."
