No Kidding.

I was coming down George Bush this morning, towards 114 and exited Royal. As soon as I turned on Royal a huge flash of lightning struck behind me and reflected off the AAA building. I thought I was blinded for life, it was pretty scary.

True that...

I was woken up by it a couple minutes before my alarm at 7:15 by some thunder that rumbled for 30-60 seconds, enough to set off car alarms.

I have a friend that lives in the condos that were struck by lightning outside of downtown Fort Worth this morning.

He was at work with me...

Apparently the apartment upstairs and one over though was pretty obliterated to the point of being unlivable. About 40 units residents are temporarily displaced due to the water from the sprinklers and foam by the firemen used to put out the fire. He said the condos it’s kind of a black watery foam just running down the concrete hallways from the units when he went home at lunch to check it all out.

Murph goes yard again, Harrison goes 5 and gives up 3. Josh mentions twitter in the first inning. Wash will be ejected for arguing balls and strikes from yesterday, after seeing the game for the first time on tape. Hamilton will pinch hit in the 8th and ground out swing at the first pitch he sees. Rangers 7 Bal O’s 5.

Looking at how our opponents have played in the first month

It has been far from an easy schedule. Next month looks pretty promising with 9 games against Oakland and LAA and a couple of series against the Astros and Yanks. Seattle also will be coming back down to earth by that time (they already are).

Josh was in the lineup originally, but was scratched because he is still hurting. Elvis needs a day off also, given that the Rangers are in the middle of a 20 STRAIGHT GAME STRETCH.

Earlier this year, I was talking to my girlfriend about how much I liked Harrison.

Not that I thought he’d be great, but I thought he was ready to be at least a solid 5th or even 4th guy.

And she responded a few minutes later with “you probably shouldn’t look at CHONE. . . or PECOTA.”

I just ignored her.

Yeah

I predicted a weak season for him all offseason do to his poor peripherals from last year, but then I allowed myself to buy into the Harrison hype over spring training. Should’ve known better.

Chris (NJ): I am personally offended at how you ranked a prospect from my favorite team, even though I do not know said prospect, nor have I ever seen him play. I agree

that guy is a stud

Chris (NJ): I am personally offended at how you ranked a prospect from my favorite team, even though I do not know said prospect, nor have I ever seen him play. In my opinion you only have your job because, like your employers, you have an unholy bias towards my favorite team’s rival. Also, you’re short.

Keith Law: You’re right. I am short.

Thank god Seattle traded him
