Question for Ranger fans in OKC
Does anyone know if we have a Rangers radio affiliate yet in OKC, or are we still stuck with attempting to pick up 1080AM after the sun goes down? You would figure this wouldn't be a problem, but I guess it's harder than I think to get the Rangers on the air up here.
must be 75 words? what the hell am I supposed to type for another 25 words? this is ridiculous.........

Does the Animal not carry them?
I live here in Arlington but I remember growning up in Oklahoma tuning the radio to the mighty 820 for Rangers games when I was a kid.

1080AM is only broadcasting the weekend games this year
And here’s a site for affiliates, though there’s none listed for OK: http://www.texasbaseballradio.com/affiliates.htm

what?!?!?!?
seriously…sounds like I’m not going to be able to listen to ANY games this season while I’m at work. this blows.

Gameday Audio is well worth the $15
I had it when I was at school in Indiana for 4 years…and I still have it now down in Austin so I can listen to the games at work over the internet

I would definitely get that or MLBTV if I worked out of an office
but I’m in my car from 4pm until 1am (shaking the crime stick, for you Mr. Show fans out there).

Are you able to get satellite radio?

nope...we have been told that no additional electronic equipment shall be added to our cars
because we must be treated like a bunch of little kids, I guess. So, if 1080AM is only for the weekends, where are the games during the week?

Get a short wave radio..
I’m surprised you can’t get it on a regular radio. When I lived in Jamestown, New York as a kid I would get WBAP on my little piece of crap radio I had. It was a very faint signal but I got to listen to all the Ranger games.
Josh Hamilton puts his pants on one leg at a time just like you but once he gets his pants on he hits baseballs 420 feet.
WBAP is awesome
if they still carried the Rangers, I’d try to amp up a receiver to pick it up in Cali. 1080 just doesn’t have the quality signal.

Hope this helps.
Anyone in OKC know if the game today is televised out here?
