I was in Vegas over Superbowl weekend and checked a bunch of casinos for the best odd on the Rangers to win the WS (like I do every year). The best I could find was 70-1, which I put $20 on, like I do every year. I think the Rangers look better now than they did in February. I still remember 5+ year ago when I could get 2000-1 odds. You never see that sort of line anymore. There is no reason for the casinos to offer it since they know the only people who would make the bet are Ranger homers who would make the bet at 70-1 also.

Placed $180 on the Rangers...

to win the West…pays $2025 which will be more than enough for me to take trip if they do happen to make the playoffs. More than likely I just wiped my ass with $180, but it makes the season a little more fun now doesn’t it?
