Opening Day Pictures - add yours

PrintWell last year I spent hours before the game taking black and white photos on an old camera, as can be seen in this photobucket album.
This year I didn't bother with any of that, but I did bring my standard snapshot camera and take a handful of pictures strictly from my seat in RF and then a couple in LF. So I don't have much, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to throw them in a fanpost and invite others to put up anything they may have taken, I know a lot of people were there.

where were you at? i was near the bullpen and didn’t get many clean shots off. you got some pretty good clean shots and got more zoom than me, or were closer.

My camera isn’t a big one with a huge lens or anything, but it does have a 10x zoom so betweeen that and the decent resolution I can get pretty close. Although most of these are barely cropped if at all, I might grab some closeups in a bit.

i abandoned my attempt to purchase a kinsler one (the cheaper version.. but its still 125) when confronted with the 40 minute long gift shop line before the game and in the 8th inning. Although Im sure I could have tracked one down somewhere in the stadium, it was a zoo in there.
i think ill just wait until im back there on thursday heh.

1. The Color Guard was out there forever…poor dudes.
2. The guys manning the flag…wow, that thing had to have more lift than a parasail with all that swirling wind.
3. Bush had some gas on that throw, but he should have paused for a second to add some drama to the whole thing. He just trotted out there, threw the ball, and disappeared…maybe a security issue, I don’t know.
4. Lisa & Micah took a bunch of pics too, hopefully we can link them in this thread also.

OK, some of them are. But, because they were out on the field with the Big Flag O’ Doom, there weren’t as many guys stretching as usual, or at least, they weren’t where I could take pictures of them. Last year I got a bunch of those.

Here are the shots I got
I was 2nd row behind viz dugout.
The first four are vids of W throwing the first pitch and the boys breaking out of the dugout top of the 1st. Not great.
I did get some good shots of some lefties and some pitchers…and Radz.
I didn’t go through all of them and edit….I’m sunburnt and half-drunk. There are some shots of my boy and a .gif I tried to make….
Rangers looked great today.
