Galloway column today
It was pointed out in the comments that I missed Galloway's column this morning in the links...
It didn't show up in my Bloglines feed (or, for that matter, as a link to the S-T on Google News), but it is on the Boston Herald website, so I'm linking that here...
And I can also link this picture of The King, in his first major league AB...

I thought those were just BP helmets
They weren’t actually going to wear those on the diamond, were they??
OMG, WERE THEY???

they were going for this

mormons stole me and held me against my will with Oklahoma beer and 12+ hour work days.
I think its funny
that the Boston Herald has also eliminated their baseball staff and decided to just use the Star Telegram’s

A sign of the apocalypse?
A Galloway story about the Rangers that doesn’t inject any of Josey’s usual assinine taglines?

Has anyone seen the two of them at the same place at the same time?
Just sayin’…

I read:
“I had that same thought, in a different head.”
That would be sweet but I would always lose track of which head I had what thought in.
When I see a solar eclipse I think "oh no, is the moon eating the sun?"
Those books where much better than the movie.
Hello Win Column - no two-tone helmets have been included in our redesign.

Rodney
JD came home yesterday and didn’t have a smelly diaper.
Relax, will ya?

This is true...
I mean with all the time Josey spends up Nolan’s ass I wonder how he even has time to check JD’s diaper.

Well, it does seem a begrudging recognition of success.
Depends on how you interpret the tag-line.
Let the season continue.
JD: Adamant about 78 wins in 2009. Go Rangers!
heh
I didn’t mean for you to actually link it…i’m still not gonna read it, even if it isn’t the FWST that is getting the hits.

One problem i have with his article...
Is if he would actually come out to TRBiA he would know that if there is a strong north wind outside, that the “jetstream” blows towards home plate inside the stadium. and the opposite is true when there is a strong south wind. But again, not sure old grandpa has been out to actually watch a rangers game in about 10 years.
nah
I sat in the 2nd deck right behind home plate once last year, right in front of the pressbox.
He was up there alright, but he was gone by the 4th inning - he must’ve already typed up the article because the next day it was about how the Rangers had no fight in them and it came straight from their manager - he obviously didn’t stick around till the end and already had submitted it because it was a comeback victory in the late innings — yep, no fight at all….

whoa, that was weird
that should be "he must’ve already typed up the article because the next day it was about how the Rangers had no fight in them and it came straight from their manager – "
Didn’t mean to strikethrough that….
