Elvis was playing on the RF side of 2B with the shift
Fielded the ball, then just threw it high to 1B. Davis had to leap to catch it, runner safe.

He was on the other side of 2B for the shift
The ball went the right direction but was a boot or so too high
He was positioned behind 2B on the shift for Hafner
Got the ball with plenty of time. Just over-threw the ball.
