I'm not so sure...

people are jumping off the A’s bandwagon quicker than LSBers are with CD.

Oakland is a very bad team right now.

All it would take, though

is for the rookie pitchers to adjust and grow into their roles, that’s a lot of talent there. I’m not counting them out.

Their defense is still questionable

and their offense sucks. The pitching could make them a .500 team, but their pitching right now isn’t horrible (pretty much middle of the league in ERA). They’re also leading the league in bullpen IP so expect an exhausted bullpen in the second half.

By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

Agree with all that

and I don’t expect them to win enough to win the division, but I’m still not going to count on it.

I like that...

…we are playing well headed into a series against LAAnaheim. This seems like the first time in a while I have good feelings heading into a series against them.

and I think the

California Angels of Los Angeles of Anahiem must be feeling pretty good considering the injuries they have had.

"One game at a time..."

Is a good approach for the team. I’m not on the team, however, and will choose to dream big.

I mean, shit, I’m a fan of the Texas Rangers. Big dreams are all I have. Why deny myself?

i am glad

adam jones is not in our division.

What is this, Horseville? Because I'm surrounded by naysayers.

and

Chris Tillman for that matter. He would be battling Justin Smoak pretty hard for top prospect status within our division, and I’m pretty sure he’d win.

I'm just glad the Angels finally lost on a night the Rangers won so there's more than a half-game between them.

Now the Rangers need only win one more game against Seattle to still be in first place when the Angels show up.

It was a close loss, too

I was sure when they were up 3-1 that they had that game.

Whoops.

She say she are the manager.

Post it every day until it changes.

Each day we’re in first makes this season more of a bonus to me. Even if we crap out the rest of the year.

I've been saving screen shots of the league standings every day that we're in first place.

Last year I had screen shots for every day we were above .500.
