The Rangers haven't been 2 1/2 games up in the West since June 10, 2006, when they beat Boston 7-4 and Bryan Corey picked up the win.

The Rangers were actually up 5 games at one point in 2006.  I had forgotten about that.

Would it be ironic if Bryan Corey is released today when Hinckley is added to the OKC roster?

Sigh ... we are sooo gonna suck again next season.

late start today and the line up

Cruz in RF and AJ on the bench.

It continues to rain here at Rangers Ballpark, and the Rangers have said that the game is very likely to not start on time.

so

would the game still be on FOX or would FOX not air it??

by MayurP on May 16, 2009 1:19 PM CDT up reply actions

if it doesn't air it

I’m gonna be pissed. The radar just shows very light rain and it looks to be moving out, so hopefully they don’t have to delay it by that much.

From the NWS

“AREA OF RAINFALL REMAINS CENTERED OVER THE I-35 CORRIDOR. RAIN
WILL BEGIN TO TAPER OFF FROM NORTH TO SOUTH BEGINNING IN THE
METROPLEX SHORTLY. "

I think they’ll get it in.

And we win at Earthquakes

Biggest today in the contiguous US. 2nd biggest was a 3.1 somewhere near SF.

So far anyway.

Earthquakes?

I thought all we had to worry about in DFW was tornadoes and the occasional flash flood. Now I have to worry about earthquakes, too?

What next, a volcano?

The DMN blog

interviewed him and he said he was in no pain, but didn’t have his velocity. He wants to throw another BP session Monday and hopes to be available Tuesday I think.

Not that this is what will happen.

by GhettoBear04 on May 16, 2009 2:23 PM CDT up reply actions

That's what I am queasy about

Biceps tendinitis shouldn’t really affect velocity.

are you expressing a lack of confidence in the team's medical cadre?

would it surprise anyone if Frankie’s condition is known to be worse than is being reported?
