That's a crazy story.
About how the Braves beat the Rangers to him in the first place.
One of my favorite things about the FO/JD is something that I read about them in the offseason. I dont’ remember where now, but they basically said that the Rangers did a good job of communicating between various areas of the organization. So the burgeoning LA scouting department has enough communication with the FO that when trades are being discussed, low A guys that might not show up on other teams radar are targets for the Rangers.
