Criticize Trey Hillman? Not around George Brett.
A friend of mine did this interview for a KC news station and passed on the link. I thought everyone would enjoy it --- for obvious reasons.
George Brett and some colorful language

Damn...
I would love to see someone use that language on the 6 o’clock news out here in Salt Lake. That’s some funny shit.
And why the hell would anyone wear those pants out in public? Even to go golfing in.

George Brett was my man-crush growing
up and I still love him.
Usually takes a few cold ones in your system to drop that many F-bombs.

am i the
only one who finds this totally embarrassing?
to talk and act that way in front of a camera shows a pretty bad character flaw.
i think it is way different in front of a camera where it will be all over the internet than just talking to a print reporter.
i find a grown man who has to curse over and over shows a great lack of maturity.
Same with a stand up comedian who only gets the laughs when he curses. a true comedian will get them laughing with something actually funny.
Thanks Debbie Downer, you bitch!!

he
WAS a ballplayer like 20 years ago.
he still represents KC off the field with appearances. he is still the face of the franchise. that requires PR work. however, i do agree with one thing. He definitely doesn’t care. who tells stories about soiling their own britches? i would think a normal guy keeps that to himself.

Considering that Hillman is such a religious type
I find this hilarious.

I was thinking the same thing.
George Brett was such greatness, my parents saved the fan letter I wrote to him as a 7 year old. I made sure every letter was perfect, with the lower case letters directly touching the perforated hyphens b/w lines.
I say Schmidt was the greatest 3rd basemen, a buddy says B Robby. We always settle it with giving it to Brett. If only, Hank.
