Walked away with a nice sun burn and the memory of my first Justin Smoak homer, or at least what the umps called a homer. Personally, I thought it bounced off the top of the wall just under the yellow line. But, we’ll take what we can get.
I went by myself and felt a little out of place surrounded by middle school kids on their field trips. I also got to see Moscoso strike out six and only walk one. I was also the only one cheering for Marcus Lemon when he came up to bat. That was mostly so I could tell dirkatron that I did it.

It was a beautiful day for baseball though, sun burn and all.

Wondering if that will be the AA debut of Mike Kirkman – taking Hamilton’s turn.
