The Rangers are leading MLB in Defensive Runs Saved, according to John Dewan of Acta Sports.

Cincinnati Reds 18
Houston Astros 14
Defensive Runs Saved—Bottom Five Teams

Other notables: The Mariners outfield has saved 11 runs this season, just one behind the 12 runs saved by the Rangers and the 12 runs saved by the Angles in the outfield in Los Angeles.

I just looked at last year
when they were -27 runs. That’s a 5 game swing from 2008-2009 just on defense.

I can't wait to see at the end of the season
how many runs Andrus alone has saved this team.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

Also,
Andrus has flashed some serious leather, posting six Runs Saved about a quarter of the way into the season.
Ian Kinsler’s improved at second base by 10 Runs Saved.
Oh noes, MY!
…he has cost them 10 runs defensively thus far.

but how bad was 3b last year?
Scout: He was a first-round pick right? Got a huge bonus?
KG: Oh yeah.
Scout: Well, he spent a lot of it on milkshakes.
-
Scout to KG: On Sandoval: "Man, that fat [expletive]-er can hit."

I was really worried about MY to start the year, but he's settling in a little bit
and having a kid like Elvis who can cover the entire left side by himself doesn’t hurt…
