Tommy Hunter to start Game 1 Friday

Per the Rangers probable pitcher page. Who goes down to bring Hunter up? Harrison to the DL? Does Benson get DFA'd anyway? Madrigal optioned?

He is never going to be a good starter. Bullpen guy all the way. 1) He looked out of shape last season. 2) He doesn’t have the stuff to pitch in the rotation. From what I’ve read he is a two-pitch pitcher. 3) He couldn’t even start in college. 4) We have too many quality starters already. 5) Did I mention he looked out-of-shape? Nolan isn’t going to stand for that.

Opinions on message

boards are one thing, but when you have your own blog you need to back those opinions up with facts and explain how you came to your conclusion. You don’t do that and that is why nobody takes you seriously.

In all fairness

this isn;t my blog. These are just my opinions on this blog. I can understand that people disagree with me or don’t like my methods or explinations. Totally understandable. But in Jamey’s thread I was just attacked and called really insulting things. I appreciate guys like knockoutking and you who take the time to explain things and that helps me in my effort to better my blog/opinions. We are all on here to learn something, right? That’s the point. We don’t share one opinion and there isnt one right answer. But I was attacked. It sucked.

I’m getting hammered today by weakass arguments. Mostly on Jameys top 20 thread. I have an opinion and people like to knock it down. Its really amazing how I can get criticized for my opinions and other people with their weakass arguments are just considered one of the group. It sucks.

I'd be fairly shocked

if Hunter ever helped the Rangers as a starter. Maybe as a bullpen arm. Maybe as a throwin for a trade. Don’t think its happening as a starter.

I just see us

swimming in 4th and 5th start candidates. Not sure we need another.

Unless a guy is a front/mid rotations start, why waste the starts, other than injury fillin.
