Texas Rangers fan asked to remove 'Yankees Suck' T-shirt
Ridiculous. Just ridiculous. I could say sooo many things about this G Rated scrutiny, but ultimately it just comes down to the fact that they are preventing passion.

I have a kid, and its my responsibility to teach her what is not appropriate ….not some old republican security guard with a power trip.

I have no problem
with a business having standards and enforcing them.

agreed
but you can’t make it subjective and it is necessary to post the rules.

My issue with this is...
you control this, but what about tipsy/drunk fans? What about fans who swear or jeer the other team? It seems like a double standard to me to consider the word “suck” profane, but not attempt to curtail other issues.

Watching John Blake try to justify the move was kind of funny.
His body language said, “yeah, this is dumb.” He words said, “Lots of people have complained about that phrase.”
Well, lots of people have complained about ticket prices and crappy baseball, too.

no argument
However this is thin skin stuff.
Should the Rangers become a winning team and start capturing more fans (as they seem to have this year) this stuff will become more and more common at the BPIA. I doubt an Indians or Rays fan would be told to turn that shirt inside out, or maybe even more relevant, a Mavs or Stars fan.

hahah
Kristen Knapp-Webb of Carrollton and her husband Walter had gone to the Rangers game on Tuesday to celebrate their 19th wedding anniversary, according to KXAS-TV. He wore a Rangers jersey and she wore her anniversary present – the Yankees T-shirt.

x
There was an article in the front page section of todays dallas morning news about this.
Apparently this is happening in stadiums across baseball even at fenway.
I find it very ironic that people are asked to remove a yankees suck shirt at fenway but still are allowed to chant it.
