I probably would have left him in since he got him out, or gone to another setup guy.

we really need another reliable bullpen guy

I need to hear clark's thoughts on this
he has the most bullpen rants on this site in the last 2 months — he’s some sort of expert he thinks.

Should have left O’Day in or brought in someone else. Maybe Francisco will only need like four pitches or something.

i think this may be overdoing it

FRANKIE FRANK

he should have put cj instead to get him some work on hitting that strike zone
Texas Rangers- You hang 'em, we bang 'em!
Frankie to the rescue ... I suppose.

WTF is Frankie doing in this game?
If ODay is done bring in Holland or CJ or someone. We don’t have a day off until next Monday so theres no need to use your closer in this situation
Bryan Smith (12:17:17 PM PT): Justin Smoak and Josh Hamilton. The AL West might just have found their Bash Brothers, v. 2.0.
Wash is going to run Frankie and CJ into the ground by the ASB

Maybe they needed to stroke Frankie's ego
after the turbulence yesterday?

this
Aikman and Bradshaw?
Please. They are in the same league as Trent Dilfer and Jim McMahon as QBs who were taken to the SB by great Defenses and great Running Games.

Grieve makes a reasonable point
It may be that, with Frankie having gotten up as many times as he did, he wouldn’t be available tomorrow anyway.
But the bullpen situation is problematic right now.
yeah
but it’s also an indication of the quality of the other options…or lack thereof

We need to DFA Guardado or Mendoza immediately after this game
Not being able to trust either of them with a 5 run lead and burning your closer is absurd. The ridiculous thing is I agree with the decision given who’s in the pen.
We could just option Mendoza but I get your point
Bringing in your closer in a nonsave situation when they don’t absolutely need the work is a recipe for implosion. And now Frankie walks the first batter

mendoza cant throw the ball inside for some reason...
he needs to be sent down.
Texas Rangers- You hang 'em, we bang 'em!
yep, hes right.
i rescind my objection
lets just hope we don’t need someone to bail out a tired frankie..
the preceding post was a great success.
god damn frankie come on

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Ron Washington...giving hope everywhere to the kids who eat lead paint chips of being a big league manager when they grow up since 2007.
In retrospect facing felix/bedard was great
since now their bad pitchers will be up as we go for 1st place.
the preceding post was a great success.
This is our house now.
I’m liking this team more and more every game they play.
Keep us updated ...

Amazing by Padilla!
I was in meetings all afternoon and couldn’t even check in on the game until the 10th – how strong was Padilla?
