Since a guy from my old high school is now playing for Midland I was thinking of going to that series in a couple of weeks. Any chance Beavan is pitching that series on the 22nd, 23rd or 25th? No way can I get out of work for a 11 a.m. start.

The 25th is your best bet to see Beavan

Poveda is listed as being on the DL at MiLB.com. But so is Michael Schlact who is supposedly active … so I don’t know what to believe.

Who decides on the RRs start times? They have an 11:00am start on the 24th which is in the middle of the Midland series.

Excellent catch on the Beavan TV appearance

Did not notice that yet. These minor league teams schedule early games and fill the stadium with school kids on field trips. Must be lucrative or something – or – gets the local kids familiar with the team or something. They all do it. Some early games are getaway days – but not always.
