Checking in from the ballpark.
The combination of bad weather and horrible traffic has made for a very empty RBiA. I’m taking lots of pictures though from some damn good seats.

Name the 5 former Rangers players that the Rangers have drafted their sons

What does illiterate have to do with it?
Maybe literate people think Arby is just a great hat maker

Any AJ predictions for tonight?

Elvis Andrus - 2009 AL Rookie of the Year
Mitch Moreland - 2009 Rangers Minor League POY

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but today is the 19th anniversary of No Hitter number 6.
I watched every pitch of that game on TV, with Ruben Sierra (Sr) catching the final out in the vast foul territory at Oakland Alemeda Colleseum.
Good Times.
Go Rangers!

So I went to work this morning and when I got there
the electricity was out and the phone lines were down at the office.
So I’ve been doing nothing but walking the dog, doing laundry and waiting for this game to start since I got home.
Let’s go Rangers
OK Millie

Tampa bases loaded 1 out vs LAA, up 1-0 as is
Would be pretty sweet if we can come out of this series right where we started (4.5 up) even with the horrible 2 games.

Random weather tidbit
The storm system which veered south from the Metroplex is now generating tornado warnings…and is moving towards the greater Austin/Georgetown area, including Round Rock, where a game is slated to be played at the Dell Diamond tonight and where several thousand people are presumably located…

I have family in Round Rock but they’re about as reliable at answering their phone as I am (which is to say not at all). Chris Davis makes me sad...
He doesn’t even frustrate me, he just makes me sad. I want for him to a beasticon again so bad, not just for the team’s sake.. but for his.
You just described how I feel about Salty.

So are we reduced to patting Crush on the head for

Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan was on the same pitching staff with Danny Darwin during the 1986 through 1988 seasons. Both were described by Milo Hamilton as "tall, tough Texans." It was a source of debate amongst Astros players and fans over who would win in a fight, Ryan or Darwin. Though Astros pitcher Bob Knepper attempted to set up a fight between the two during spring training in 1988, manager Hal Lanier stopped it before it could commence. Many experts, including Astros shortstop Rafael Ramirez, felt that Darwin would win because he "looked like someone no man would want to mess with."
Kinsler, it's hard to like you right now

Doesn't deserve it at this point.
Needs to get his head out of his ass and just hit the ball.

Stop trying to hit the ball 500 feet every at-bat. Then maybe he can be the great hitter he sometimes is.
