go team go!
Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan was on the same pitching staff with Danny Darwin during the 1986 through 1988 seasons. Both were described by Milo Hamilton as "tall, tough Texans." It was a source of debate amongst Astros players and fans over who would win in a fight, Ryan or Darwin. Though Astros pitcher Bob Knepper attempted to set up a fight between the two during spring training in 1988, manager Hal Lanier stopped it before it could commence. Many experts, including Astros shortstop Rafael Ramirez, felt that Darwin would win because he "looked like someone no man would want to mess with."

Wash tracks ABs of 8 or more pitches, according to Sherrington.
For instance, the week of May 4-10, the Rangers were 6-for-30 driving in runs with two outs. They were .500 driving in runs from third base with less than two outs.
But they had only four hitters with at least eight-pitch at bats, Washington’s ideal.

Seriously
There’s no reason for Brandon Boggs to be on the bench today.
Just freaking put him on waivers and let him go to some team that will actually give him a chance to play occasionally.
Geez.
But C'mon
Randy Wolf IS allowing lefties to hit him at .089, so it’s not as if it’s impossible for Murphy to get a hit. And besides, the way the Rangers score runs, they don’t need him anyway!
but murphy is hot right now!

Well, no strikeout this time
Bad luck with the broken bat and a good play by the CF to prevent a hit.
He'll do the crap out of something.
My guess is strike out on a big looping curve or a ball in the dirt.

Does it look like he’s swinging … slower … more deliberate …. like he wants the bat to remain over the plate longer to increase contact?
He should swing a 2x6.
