Frank Francisco finally DLed
Francisco is scheduled to have a long toss/bullpen session on Tuesday. If all goes well, he'll go out for a rehab assignment, which is likely Thursday. The club is not sure if that's Frisco or Oklahoma City.
Francisco had a 32-pitch bullpen session today and said he felt good. The bottom line: Francisco probably came off the DL too soon last time.

The Rockies are rolling though.
Think CO listens to offers on him?

Depends on what their needs are.
I don’t really know what their needs are, admittedly.

Forget it dude…you may as well as about The Grink again, which is equally as lame.

Yah, true.
With Corpas not meeting expectations they really don’t have another closer option.

"BIg whoop, wanna fight about it?"
It's sort of scary that I'm saying this
but the way C.J. has pitched recently, I think we will be okay until Frank gets healthy (knock on wood).

Left the game today in the 8th, I’m beaten down by the offensive failures.
the preceding post was a great success.

And the heat!
I like Eddie G okay. But are there no better options for us? We need some help there.
Thankfully my seats wern't bad for the heat.
Cheapest seats in the house, very last row in the 3rd level. However those also happen to be both in shade and with a regular breeze flowing through so it was generally comfortable.

get well soon
Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan was on the same pitching staff with Danny Darwin during the 1986 through 1988 seasons. Both were described by Milo Hamilton as "tall, tough Texans." It was a source of debate amongst Astros players and fans over who would win in a fight, Ryan or Darwin. Though Astros pitcher Bob Knepper attempted to set up a fight between the two during spring training in 1988, manager Hal Lanier stopped it before it could commence. Many experts, including Astros shortstop Rafael Ramirez, felt that Darwin would win because he "looked like someone no man would want to mess with."
