What about Chris Davis?
I have an irrational hatred of Chris Davis because his Ks are way too ugly and irrational liking of Matt Harrison because he's a lefty - deal with it.
You've got a real hangup about Chris Davis

I really do
And I don’t usually get this bent out of shape about players. I probably should let it go and just hope he gets better, but I think it frustrated me until recently very few people acknowledged something may have to be done other than wait for him to figure it out.
Obviously I prefer for him to be as good as most everyone else thinks he is, I just worry that he’s not that good and so we’re all going to sit here waiting for someone who could be just another Pete Incaviglia. I’d rather figure that out with him in AAA than in Arlington.

I'll be a little nicer from now on
No more snarky comments or strikeout predictions in the gameday threads (those were too easy anyway)
I even changed my signature

Is Feldman a consideration at all?
I mean off the top of my head Greinke, Halladay, Jackson, Buehrle, Saunders, Verlander, Felix, Sabathia…maybe Porcello…does Feldman have a shot if he keeps it up? How many starters do they take?
"Hang-Dai, Wu...Hang-Fu$&ing-Dai"
Maybe if he goes 5-0
with an ERA under 2.00 between now and the ASB.
G G G E-flat_______ F F F D__________....
Well, he does have the lowest starts tRA on the team by almost two whole runs.
But, no, he won’t be considered for the AST right now.
Guys like Weaver, Bedard, Garza, Shields, Lee, Slowey, etc. (plus all the guys you mentioned) would all get the call well before Feldman, imo.

there's not even an argument for Young?
okay.
Man, I love winning! You know? It's like better than losing!
Not as a starter
There’s not really much argument for anyone aside from Longoria as the starter.
But as a backup, he should be a much better candidate than Brandon fucking Inge.

why?
They are hitting around the same this year, but Inge is playing defense also.
"Guillermo Moscoso despite his stunning game yesterday, is not a legit prospect. He is simply too old, too skinny, too weak, and lacks the fastball to make it at the professional level. ." - crops.mlblogs.com
Well
Young: .333/.376/.538, .398 wOBA, 137 OPS+
Inge: .269/.362/.515, .378 wOBA, 125 OPS+
Inge has been really good, but MY has been better, at least offensively. Usually defense doesn’t factor much into ASG voting.

He may get it as a player vote
That is the key variable that people always leave out of this. 8 guys are voted in, and then 8 guys (and maybe some of the pitchers) are voted in by the players. It is only after that that the manager gets to pick the other bench guys (and make sure every team is represented)
I can see Young winning the player vote for 3b, especially if ARod’s reputation around the league is as bad as some people say it is (that and ARod did miss a month of the season). I also think that the player vote ensures that Kinsler gets in regardless of whether he or Pedroia gets voted in by the fans.

ASG
is over a month away. why are we talking about this now?
lots can change in next 3-4 weeks
