Scheppers to have shoulder surgery?
From MiLB.com Spokane preview: "Texas drafted Tanner Scheppers 44th overall, but it's looking more and more unlikely he will play for Spokane this summer -- an on-going shoulder injury could lead to surgery, if he eventually signs."

I mean it's possible that
Danny f-ing Wild knows something that no other reporter in baseball does, but that seems really, really unlikely. Also, this to be a valid comment, Mr. Wild would have to be so familiar with negotiations that he knows that they were literally on the verge of signing him and assigning him to Spokane, but it all broke down because of a complete 180 in his condition since less than two weeks ago when he was pitching very well in live action. I mean remember that he’s writing this just 12 days after the draft. Think about the reality of that. He may turn out to be right and all, but it sounds like pure bunk.

It's also possible that he's basing his statement off what his MLB.com colleague Jonathan Mayo wrote
