OT: College World Series Game 3 - Texas vs LSU

game 3 for the world series, as it should be

LSU vs Texas -- LSU going for their 6th NC and Texas their 7th

in other news, if Texas keeps playing defense this badly, it could get real serious real quick here...

with 2 runners on, its never a good idea to be 2-0 to mitchell (or any other player)

and in other news: les miles is kind of a tool

here is hoping tonight ends up well -- with a UT win and a Rangers win!

hes one hell of a player, isnt he?

Scout: He was a first-round pick right? Got a huge bonus?
KG: Oh yeah.
Scout: Well, he spent a lot of it on milkshakes.

wow that was sad

gets down 0-2 b/c he couldn’t get the bunt down and then is finished on a good fastball.

I hate Tucker’s offensive game.

anthony raunado

watching him makes me sick on what we potentially missed out on, but hey we still had quite a bounty in 2007 so you can’t complain. His fastball location and velocity is nice. His breaking ball definitely needs work but has some promise.

it amazes me how few stolen bases there are in the cws

you would think that the catchers and pitchers don’t have great times (compared to pros anyways) and that runners are just as fast or faster as normal pro players.

so geaux tigers or whatever the hell they say.

these announcers are so clueless about the drafting and signing process

patrick said that he heard a guy say that if you can’t get $2 million, then you should go to college. According to that, if you aren’t drafted in the top 10 picks, then you should go to college. That is ridiculous. I would say the number is actually closer to 150K to 200 K.

by trgordon723 on Jun 24, 2009 6:59 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

yea

i know a gen uy who started off wanting 1 mill, then 750 k, then 500k then 250k

and i doubt he gets any of it

wow

evidently this is tied/based on the ads that have been screwing everything up for, well a LOT of people

this is one of the “fixes” mlbsupport suggested:

use this tool to remove the flash application. Create a new user account in your computer.Restart your computer then login with that new account. Try to install flash with this new account and test.

Flash uninstaller
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

At this point these suggestions are just mucking up my computer . . . swithc to a different user, etc. . . . What exactly happened that everything worked just a few days ago and now it doesn’t? Is it that Geico ad? This is troubling. I’ve been a subscriber for years, I’ve dealt with the erradict quality without a peep, but this is just silly.

Geez ...

Texas defense has been horrible the entire CWS other than the third baseman.

Commentators are praising Austin Wood ...

… for pitching 13 innings but he hasn’t been the same pitcher since. Augie might have ruined that kid.

The really frustrating thing

is that this game should not have been played. If Jungman had done his job in game one Texas wins the series last night.

Yeah, shoulda, coulda, woulda.......

If the Sooners has scored both times they were on the 1 yard line against the Gators they would have won the NC. Things happen we all have to move on.

LS fucking U

i don’t have much respect for the educational component of their university, but they have a hell of an athletic department.

What is this, Horseville? Because I'm surrounded by naysayers.
