Minors 6/27
Pitching probables and boxscore links can be found here thanks to Shroomer. Weiland starts for Hickory and the others are kind of meh.
Tonight's item of discussion: Which position player(s) do you look to first when checking out the minor league boxscores? I assume everyone checks out the pitchers. My choices:
OKC: Max, Borbon, Golson
Frisco: Smoak, Moreland, Smith
Bak: Beltre (Is there anyone else their worth watching?)
Hickory: Bianucci, Morrison
Spokane:
AZL:

I'd add Paisano to that list
Furcalito and Telis as well.
Look at the comments under Jeff Wilson's blog post on dallasnews.com. What a bunch of rocket scientists.- Keith Law
Lately Smoak and Max have been the first guys I look for
Borbon too.

Its funny how this time last year the minors threads were hundreds of comments deep,
but now just nine counting me.

look at the scheduled pitchers
Corey, Ballard, Falcon starting for the top 3 affiliates. Those guys don’t inspire much conversation.
There's more to the picture than meets the eye.
Or maybe it was just me. :)
