Braves Release Glavine
He just threw a 6 inning scoreless rehab start last night. Not sure what else ATL wanted him to do!!

If he still has something left, can teach the youngsters a few things (especially in a playoff race) and can be had for a song, I'd be interested.

for sure.
He was only slated to make a max of $4.5M from the braves this year. I would imagine, if he would come here, we could get him for a max of $2M or so for the rest of the year. Would be a great 3-4 starter and solid mentor for the young kids!!

Shouldn't that be Harrison
Wasn’t the most used MLB comp for Harrison always Glavine?
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

Weird
If you thought Chipper/Larry was pissed about Smoltz being let go he’s going to hit the roof about this one.
Remember Red, hope is a good thing. Maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies.

haha
surely there is more to the story, velocity (which I doubt with him), discomfort, maybe he didn’t want to play anymore, but I would definitely give him a look, just to keep him from someone else in the AL seeing as is he is the kind of pitcher that absolutely kills us, soft tossing lefty that has “bendy” stuff

I am definetly interested
100%. He would be an asset if he can still compete.
This is our year.
