Get Out The Vote
Fellow fans of the Texas Rangers.
We need to get out the vote. We have to get everyone who reads this board to go vote the max times for Ian and Josh, otherwise what do we have to look forward to? The team is falling flat on its face, the owner is running, everything is in the shitter, but we can still vote our right to see Josh and Ian in the All Star Game this year.
They deserve it, we deserve it. Lets get it done. Its so easy, you fill out the form once and then every time you re-vote it autofills the form for you!
And remember, if you vote 25 times on one email address and put the Rangers as your favorite or second favorite team, you get two free tickets to one of about 4 games later this year, or half price tickets to other games. Its a good incentive, go take advantage of it...

Now, I'm all for Ian
but why exactly does Josh deserve it?
Get off the bandwagon, put down the anvil.

He doesn't.

Josh has done nothing
Also Ian’s season is following the same pattern as Ricky Martins Career.
Both needed another hit, bad.

Josh who?
I hope you don’t mean Hamilton because he has played 1/2 time and sucked when he was playing.

Well, Ian's no Freddy Sanchez.

well voting for anyone other than Kinsler or Pedroia is basically a throwaway vote
So between the two..you should vote Kinsler because he deserved it last year instead of Pedroia. And two wrongs DOES equal a right.

Um, Aaron Hill?
He’s a much better option than Pedroia at this point.
Get on base or die, Salty.

Aaron Hill isn't really in the race for the starting spot...
I didn’t say Kinsler or Pedroia were the best

Oh, yeah.
Forgot we where talking about the voting and actual logic there for a second. Sorry.
To add to your point then: Pedrioa sucked ass in June himself. His wOBA is down in the .340’s, while Kinsler’s is still up above .370, and he’s almost 3 runs behind Kinsler in UZR/150. Of the two, there’s really no reason at all to be voting for Pedrioa.
Get on base or die, Salty.

Ian is the only one
who deserves a vote. No one else on this team deserves the All Star game, other than maybe Millwood.

voted for Ian
Not because I like him but because I want to see him roll his head, flip his bat and jog down to firstbase when he pops out the the secondbaseman. Everyone will get to see how much of a douche he is.

*Sigh*
The Ian Kinsler hatred really confounds me.
I can’t wrap my head around why people dislike him in the slightest. Seems like a nice enough guy, always front and center with the charity shit, clean record, clearly the best player on the team…
And then we have people calling starting fanposts declaring him a Hank Blalock-esque hacker and describing him as dense or a douche and saying that Robby Cano and Freddy fucking Sanchez are clearly better players.
Bah.
I think Sharky was right on this count… I think we all hate our players.
And I think that sucks a big fat veiny one.

Expectations
After last year, the expectations from this fanbase for Kinsler where simply too high, I think. He basically had a career offensive season last year, and folks expected him to simply come out this year repeat that, especially with the way he performed the first few weeks of the season.
Now that he’s gotten pull-happy and fallen into a slump, people are overly disappointed and pissed because he’s not meeting their expectations (kinda like how some people hate Chris Davis now because he’s blown their expectations of him to smithereens in the bad sense).
I do think there is cause to be disappointed with Kinsler’s offensive play of late (he’s certainly capable of much better), and it probably is time to remove him from the leadoff spot, but yeah, people seem to have forgotten (A, that all players slump sometimes, and (B, he’s having a career season defensively.
Get on base or die, Salty.

Doesn't the best player on the team
always draw fire? ARod, Teix, now Kinsler?

people seem to turn on players really quick
and they always like to call them a douche, someone needs to start getting more clever with the insults.

We deserve to have them in the game, not that they have earned it.
