Wouldn't that be to obvious...

Yeah

When they win, it’s a good, close game most of the time. Lately, when they’ve lost, it’s “throw gasoline on the fire” time and they get blown out. So I don’t think it’s Texas.

Jankees?

She say she are the manager.

by rockin_rangers on Jun 8, 2009 11:03 AM CDT reply actions

Possibly Detroit.

If I list every team, I’ll eventually hit it, right?

She say she are the manager.

by rockin_rangers on Jun 8, 2009 11:05 AM CDT reply actions

That's my guess too

Just seems like they’ve had a lot of blowouts.

I want to say Tampa Bay..

yesterday when I saw it, I believe it was +50ish.

by downsetgo on Jun 8, 2009 11:10 AM CDT reply actions

I'm guessing Tampa

since I noticed a few days ago at THT that their pythag record was a few games better than their actual record. Toronto will finish 4th in that division. And Boston will utilize that pitching depth to have the freshest rotation in the playoffs.

Toronto

TB

losing a LOT of close games.

Purgatory's kind of like the in-betweeny one. You weren't really shit, but you weren't all that great either. Like Tottenham.

by TheJeezus on Jun 8, 2009 11:19 AM CDT reply actions

Rangers.

I know they were second about 7 days ago… and way ahead of any other AL team at that time.

by PatrickWalz on Jun 8, 2009 11:20 AM CDT reply actions

Tampa Bay

Don’t know why, but that popped into my head.

I would have guessed us

Before the road trip.

I’ll take the Jays

I had a paper route when I was a kid. I was supposed to go to 2,000 houses. Or two dumpsters.

to many bad luck losses and blowouts not to be the choice. Since this is a "guess who’ type of thing the obvious coices, Texas, Bos, NYY are just there to confuse you and the answer will be something you would not expect off the top of your head is you were just looking at wins and losses.

by laxtonto on Jun 8, 2009 11:29 AM CDT reply actions

Tampa Ray Bays

second guess would be Boston
third would be the first place Mother Effin Texas Rangers

Without looking at the standings or what anybody else said...

Detroit Tigers?

Pretty good record and they’ve kicked around a few teams.

Funny

You notice how everyone stopped posting expected win-loss records once our actual win-loss record started outperforming our run differential…

by cstorm15 on Jun 8, 2009 12:23 PM CDT reply actions

Yah, that's absolutely hilarious.

We’re outperforming our expected W-L by two whole games.

The Angels are outperforming theirs by one game.

They’re at -8, we’re at +36.

I can’t stop laughing at the hilariousness.
